Ignore how messy this run is (first time out this year, still dusting off the cobwebs) and enjoy the delicious sound of my new external microphone...
p.s After reviewing the video I should have asked for a re-run anyway because the course was compromised... someone else had bumped this cone on the first slalom already and that totally threw off my rhythm... lol j/k I’m just out there to have fun :)

Nice, great sound. Was this Sunday? I couldn’t make anything on Sunday that but was autocrossing in Mississauga on Saturday, which was fun.

Yeah it was at Mosport DDT yesterday. There’s an auto-x at the Powerade Centre on the 19th that I might be going to.

Who’s running that event on the 19th? I typically work Sundays but I might be able to convince someone to work that day.
There’s one at the Powerade centre on the 25th as well. A double header in fact because a previous event got shut down and moved to that day now. It’s the pitl.ca series if you’re interested. That’s what I went to on Saturday.

What engine is that? M50? Doesn’t sound at all like an M20, unless it has ITBs, in which case I now have an excuse to get an old 325. That sounds unbelievably good.

M20 my friend. Home made ITBs and long tube headers... schrick cam probably helps the sound slightly as well.

That’s fantastic, ITB’s are my fetish! I read through your linked comment. How are you going about re-mapping fuel?
Amazing sound too, what ‘s the exhaust?

Car is running megasquirt, so re-mapping is pretty easy. At the moment I’m still running off the speed-density mapping using the MAP sensor because I haven’t taken the time to troubleshoot the wonky TPS signal. Ideally I’d be running alpha-n mapping if the TPS was working.
Exhaust is Bavauto style headers into single 2.5” with Vibrant resonator and muffler.
